Stop Losing Money - Persuade with Confidence
By Tom Marcoux, America's Communciation Coach
(a brief glimpse of the keynote addresses David Barron and Tom present together)
Communication Experts reveal step-by-step methods of persuasion and negotiation.
David Barron, author of "The Dynamic Keys of Persuasion" and Tom Marcoux, America's Communication Coach and author of "Communicate to Win" and "Free Yourself for Success" offer training in "Make Money through Cutting-Edge Persuasion Skills."
"The seminar helps everyone to develop the communication skills needed to be a success." Says David Barron.
Tom Marcoux trains students by using the acrostic "P.E.R.S.U.A.D.E."
1. Pinpoint
Pinpoint exactly what the person wants by asking, "What's most important to you about___?"
2. Engage
Connect with the person by showing your common concerns, feelings and traits.
3. Reveal
Reveal only those benefits of your offering that are aligned with what the person expressed is important to her/him.
4. Salt
Get someone thirsty for a solution you're offering. Ask, "If I can show you how to double your time off and triple your income, would that be of value to you?"
5. Underline
Emphasize what is important that leads to agreement. Ask, "So Mary, from what I heard you say, X and Y are important to you..? If we can get you X and Y, you'll want to move forward with this?"
6. Assist
Remember the secret for turning your interaction from being "a mosquito" into "an invited guest" is to focus on how you are helping the person.
7. Decide
After you gather the important clues, decide on what solutions to offer the person. This process is based on customers' thoughts: "Hey, you're the expert. Give me some ideas here."
8. Envision
To envision or make the benefits vivid for the person, use word pictures. A word picture sounds like: "And so it seems that your web site visitor is like a puppy on a raft adrift in the middle of the ocean.." Then, you offer a solution: "And with an auto-responder, it is like a rescue-speedboat rushes out to greet each web site visitor."
To the list Barron adds the importance of on-going improvement. "It is crucial that you continue to sharpen your persuasion skills." David Barron emphasizes: "From my hypnosis practice and corporate consulting I've developed the process called Entrancing Talk that I teach in my training."
CONCLUSION:
Persuasion is an art and science. Everyday we can practice, learn new skills and become better at persuasion. Please look at the resource before.
